I design, facilitate, teach and write mostly around larp.
My work is often centered around questions of community, resilience, ethics and the imagining body as an experimental plaform of living elsewise in times of ecocrisis. I mostly focus on collective and slowly unfolding artistic processes, with participants coming from a non-professional artistic background, but I'm curious to work with all sorts of practitioners and beings.
I am inspired by most things that come my way, but some core influences come from Nordic larp culture, permaculture, science fiction, both analytic and continental philosophy, dance and and all sorts of DIY practises. I perceive my artistic and pedagogical practice as a slowly transforming compost of collective ideas, dreams and bodily processes intertwining. I aim for radical system change with the utter most gentleness, joy and curiosity.
Currently I am working on a PhD in artistic research at the Performing Arts Research Centre Tutke (Theatre Academy, Uniarts Helsinki). My research explores how and what living within the embodied fiction of larp can teach us about post-fossil experience and sustainable futures.
